Inbay
A brand new kind of computer and gadget repairservice called Inbay, which aims to set a new standard for IT support across the UK has launched it’s flagship store in Kingsway, Central London.
The client brief was simple. Tim Burford, Design Director designLSM was required to create a high street presence where local residents and workers can casually drop in to have their computers and gadgets maintained and repaired. The retail shop needed to look welcoming for those with little or no IT experience and inside warm, friendly and above all not technically intimidating.
Bespoke curved counters were created to soften the professional enviroment. White walls were applied with fun graphics, illustrations and vibrant, orange alcoves made from painted glass. Dalsouple, rubber flooring was chosen for its resistance and flexibility.
Main features include the curved walls featuring flowing graphics and illustrations and a central white, curved consultancy bar.
"designLSM came up with a great store concept for us that tied in with our branding very well. They were thoroughly professional and responsive throughout. The result is that we have a show-stopping store that has received much praise from our clients and passers-by alike."
