Burger & Lobster
The client brief was to transform a dark, dingy pub into a casual dining restaurant, seating 69 covers and serving only Burgers and Lobsters.
The end result may appear effortlessly simple but the ceiling had to be taken out and two skylights installed. Reclaimed timbers and train sleepers (which are now steps with steel nosings from the underground) were sourced. Bare brick walls and distressed timber paneling offsets the pendant lighting above the bar and cluster bulbs. Bespoke wall lighting with copper conduit and red banquette seating provides additional warmth to the interior.
Burger & Lobster had a fast turn-around with work commencing at the end of October and being handed back on 9th December.
