The Pavilion Tea Company is a striking little venue nestled alongside Brighton’s famous Royal Pavilion, offering over 40 different varieties of teas from all over the world.
Located in a Grade II listed building, our interior design scheme is very sensitive to the original features of the building and we were delighted that it gained full approval from the Pavilion conservation team. We drew inspiration from the Royal Pavilion’s opulent oriental style and the specialist tea concept to create a strikingly simple contemporary interior, with a colour palette limited to black, electric blue and vivid mustard.
The cafe is dominated by a large apothecary style counter and back bar stacked with coloured tea caddies. Deceptively simple oriental style patterns adorn panels and windows, large Chinese lanterns and traditional Chinese furniture bring the design together.
