River Cottage Canteen is an award-winning chain restaurant created by celebrity chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall that champions seasonal ingredients from the South West’s very best produce.
We were commissioned to redesign the menus for 4 different canteens to highlight each restaurant’s unique menu offer, fresh produce and River Cottage ethos.
The Canteen’s menu changed daily so we designed a flexible format that allows them to be updated in-house by restaurant staff.
The design includes a date stamp, which emphasises the freshness of the ingredients.
An additional information card provided details of the local suppliers and ingredients provenance.
